Hydraskins offer 2 types of skins which are Decal and Wrap. For Decal there are EasyStick Series, Classic Series, ZEUS Collection and Shield Series. For Wrap, it can only be done by our trained personnel in our authorized kiosks. Check out the SHOPS section here for the location of the authorized shops and kiosks. Skin Feel Factor refers to the skin’s degree of suppleness. HydraSkins’ remarkable suppleness in its skins makes it far more superior than the competitors’ rigid plasticky skins.
These skins tend to shrink up at curvy areas of gadgets. The solution offered is to put a strip around the grove of the gadget to stop it from shrinking. Most of the time these strips fail to prevent the skin from shrinking. On top of that, the thick plastic film makes your gadget feel plasticky! That is the last thing you want your prized gadget to feel and look like.
The decals are reusable but not the wraps. However, special care in removing the decal and placing it back onto the liner is important to preserve the reusability of the decal. Depending on usage and heat generated by your gadget, it will affect the tackiness of the adhesive hence void its reusability feature after some time. The ZEUS Collection is not reusable because the crystals will become loose or fall off when the decal is peeled out.
No. HydraSkins’ uses only residue free adhesive for its skins. It will be as easy to remove as when you apply it. However in some extreme cases due to various gadget surface or excessive heat it may cause it to leave some excess on your gadget. This can be easily overcome with light rubbing to remove the excess from your gadget’s surface.
We only use Swarovski’s crystal elements for our ZEUS collection. Depending on design, some may use up to more than 400 pieces of crystal elements for a decal.
No. The crystals are individually placed on the decals with our special ultra-enforced glue. It is meant to stay there for the longest time under normal use. However if it does fall off under extreme cases, you can replace them back by using the spare loose crystals provided with every piece of ZEUS collection purchased.
